Welcome to the 1st Annual Heart of New Mexico Fiber Gathering website! 

The Moriarty Chamber of Commerce will be our partner with proceeds, after expenses, from our Gathering to be donated to the Torrance County and Santa Fe County 4-H groups.  Our future is our children!

Our event will be held at the City Park in Moriarty, NM by the water tower.  Moriarty is located approximately 35 miles east of Albuquerque and right on I-40.

Look forward to a fun filled weekend with fiber vendors selling their incredibly beautiful fiber products, events including a Hands On Booth where kids can learn to do a variety of fiber crafts,  competitions for Handspun Yarn, a Fleece Show, a Garment Show and a Home Accessories Show.  There will be demonstrations on shearing, spinning, weaving and lots more!  Visit our information booth for a free program listing all our vendors and sponsors and also a very informative exhibit of fiber in the Estancia Valley.  The air will be filled with the wonderful aroma of local food vendors.
